Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture and a broader use of the term “Cosplay” applies to any costumed role-playing in venues apart from the stage. What is Steampunk? Steampunk, is a subgenre of science fiction and sometimes fantasy that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. It’s an extremely eclectic and historical style, representing the best of merging influences from the Victorian Era, The American Wild West, The Pirate Era, Jules Verne, H.G.
